-The Tive Software Platform includes two types of users: Internal users (which can be regular or Admin users), and External users. Only Admin users can view all existing users, add new users, and configure Admin privileges for other users. Regular users cannot view the "Organization" menu where user configuration is controlled.
Viewing, Adding, and Deactivating New Internal Users
Step 1: Click on your Profile Icon and Go to “Organization”:
Step 2: Click on Accounts, then click the three dots on the right side of the account you want to add a new user to and select “Edit”:
Step 3: Scroll down to Assign Existing Users or Invite New Users and click “Save”.
To invite and assign a user in multiple subaccounts, you can go to "Users" right next to "Account", and click on "Invite new users". Invite the user by their email and assign them to their specific accounts:
To deactivate an internal user, go to "Users" click the red "Deactivate" button next to the user. Once deactivated, that user will no longer be able to access the Tive Platform.
Giving or Removing Admin Privileges
To give or remove admin privileges for an existing internal user, open the user menu on the top right corner of the screen, navigate to "Organization", go to "Users" and click the three dots to the "Make an Admin" or "Remove Admin Privileges" button next to that user. You can also give the user access to other accounts within the Organization by clicking on "Update Accounts"
By default, users that are a member of your internal team will be regular users. Regular internal users can interact will all aspects of the platform except for the "Organization" section.
External users are users who are not a member of your team, such as a partner or customer. External users cannot interact with the platform at all. External users can receive email alert notifications, but these alerts must be configured by an internal user.
External users can only receive email alerts; they cannot receive text message alerts.
